The Harvest Mouse is such a tiny creature that humans usually have only fleeting glimpses of it. With it's prehensile tail, it darts and climbs among seedgrasses or wheatstems. Marie-Luce Hubert and Jean-Louis Klein have spent more than one year studying and photographing the smallest european rodent in the alsacian countryside. After the Herald Tribune and the Guardian, the National Geographic features one of their pictures in the "Visions of Earth" pages.
The black and white art calendar "CATS 2012" edited by Korsch Verlag is featuring greek cat pictures taken by Jean-Louis Klein and Marie-Luce Hubert. This big wall calendar was awarded third prize in the category "Animals" at the Gregor International Calendar Competition. For the couple, the cats represent much more than feline beauties. Over the years, most of them became good and trustful friends. And if a cat needs some health care, Marie-Luce is always ready to help.
Lovely stray cat or powerfull siberian tiger, it doesn't matter: the french couple is fascinated by the feline beauty, the perfect predator. Taken over twenty years by Jean-Louis Klein & Marie-Luce Hubert, the pictures are presenting domestic cats and big cats in the same position or displaying the same behaviour. Each double page offers a face to face between wild and domestic cats and reveals the physical and behavioral similarities. Edited by "Hugo & Cie" in two booklets as a boxed set.
